Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and the publisher of Savant ("we", "us"). They cover the Savant desktop app, the Cortex agent inside it, the licence server, the website and any updates (together, "Savant"). By downloading, installing or using Savant, or by buying a plan, you agree to them. If you don't agree, don't use Savant.

1. What Savant is — and isn't

Savant is software that you run on your own computer. When you connect it to your own brokerage account, it can place and manage trades in that account automatically, without asking you to approve each trade, inside the limits described in the app.

Savant is not a broker, an investment adviser, a portfolio manager, a fund or a financial service. We do not hold your money, your broker credentials or your positions, and we do not trade on your behalf: the software does, on your computer, under your control. Nothing in Savant, on the website or in our communications is investment, financial, tax or legal advice, or a recommendation to buy or sell anything.

2. Risk

Trading — including in crypto-assets and equities — involves substantial risk of loss, including the loss of all money in the connected account. Read the Risk Disclosure before you connect a real-money account. In particular:

• Automated trading can lose money quickly, including through software errors, model errors, bad data, network or broker outages, gaps, slippage and events nobody foresaw. Stops and breakers reduce some risks; they do not remove them, and they can fail.
• Paper (simulated) results, backtests, demo results and anything shown on the website do not predict real results.
• AI models used by Savant can be wrong, inconsistent or manipulated by the text they read.
• You alone decide whether to connect a real-money account and whether to turn on real-money trading (the app asks you to ratify it twice). You are responsible for every trade placed in your account and for any taxes.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 and legally able to enter this agreement, and you must be allowed to use automated trading software and your broker where you live. Your broker's own terms apply to your account; make sure they allow automated trading through their API.

4. Your licence to use Savant

Your use of the software is governed by the End-User Licence Agreement. In short: we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use Savant on one computer per licence key for as long as your plan is active. Demo mode can be used free of charge.

5. Plans, trials, billing and cancellation

• Plans are sold and billed through Whop (whop.com), which is the merchant of record and processes payment. Its terms and privacy policy also apply to your purchase.
• Paid plans renew automatically (monthly or yearly) until you cancel. Each paid plan starts with a 7-day free trial (one per customer); you are charged when the trial ends unless you cancel before.
• You can cancel any time from your Whop orders. Cancellation stops future renewals; access continues to the end of the period you paid for.
• Refunds are described in the Refund Policy.
• We may change prices for future periods with at least 14 days' notice; you can cancel before the change applies.
• When a licence ends, demo mode keeps working. Paper and live trading stop opening new positions but keep managing the open ones (their stops and exits stay active) so a lapsed licence never leaves a position without protection. Close or manage those positions yourself if you stop using Savant.

6. Your accounts, keys and third-party services

Savant connects only to services you configure — for example your broker, AI model providers, Cloudflare, notification services or Discord. You obtain those accounts yourself, under their terms, and you pay any charges they make. Your keys stay on your computer. We are not responsible for third-party services, their availability, their charges or their changes.

7. Acceptable use

Don't: share, resell or sublicense licence keys; circumvent the licence check; reverse engineer the software except as the law allows despite this restriction; use Savant to break the law, a broker's terms or market rules (for example manipulation or spoofing); interfere with the licence server or the community hub; or use Savant on behalf of other people as a managed-account or advisory service without the licences that requires.

8. Community hub (optional)

If you choose to publish to the community hub, the pseudonymous agent name and the trading record you publish are public. Don't publish anything you don't want public. We may remove content or agents that break these terms.

9. Updates and changes

We may update Savant (the app offers updates; installing them is your choice unless an update is needed for security or to keep the licence system working). We may change these terms; we'll show the new version in the app and on the website at least 14 days before material changes apply. Continuing to use Savant after that means you accept them.

10. Disclaimers

Savant is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement, to the fullest extent the law allows. We don't warrant that Savant will be profitable, error-free, uninterrupted or secure.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any trading losses, lost profits, lost data, or indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, however caused, even if we were told they were possible. Our total liability for any claim relating to Savant is limited to the amount you paid us for Savant in the 12 months before the claim. Some places don't allow these limits; where they don't, they apply as far as allowed. Nothing here limits liability that can't be limited by law.

12. Indemnity

You agree to cover our reasonable costs from claims by others that arise from your use of Savant in breach of these terms or the law.

13. Termination

We may suspend or end your licence if you materially breach these terms (for example sharing keys or abusing the licence server). You can stop using Savant at any time. Sections 2, 6 and 10–15 survive termination.

14. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. The courts of India have jurisdiction, except that consumer-protection laws of your country of residence still apply where they give you rights you can't waive.
